Consignor Agreement:

I understand that as a consignor I will earn 60% of my sales. I have the opportunity to earn a higher percentage of my sales if I help at the sale. Please see the website for more information. I understand that all items I mark reduce" when entering tags will be reduced on the 50% off days. I understand that all items marked "donate", if unsold, will be donated to JBF's charity partners.

POWER SELLERS: Consignors bringing OVER 300 TAGS, and NOT donating ALL unsold items, are considered Power Consignors". They will be charged a 10% processing fee (in addition to the regular $12.50 consignor fee) for bringing 300-450 items. This fee will be removed from your consignor check. This fee can be earned back (waived) by working 2 hours of the sorting shift (2 hours = 10% processing fee waived). These hours do not count as "team member" hours. Items are counted by what you actually bring to the sale (what is left at the end of the sale + what you sold).
I have read the What We Accept" guide to ensure my items are seasonally appropriate and the "Complete Consignor Guide". I have downloaded printed and completed the CRIB AND CAR SEAT WAIVERS if applicable. I understand that I need a car seat waiver for the car seat and EACH base. I have watched the tagging videos and understand how my merchandise should be prepared for drop off. I understand that JBF has pricing guidelines available for my reference. I understand that there is a maximum of 450 total items for this sale. Any tags you wish to alter must be reprinted. If a tagging gun is used, the item MUST BE tagged through the sizing tag or in the armpit seam. Tagging directly through the fabric is not permitted as it creates an irreparable hole.

INSPECTION & REJECTED ITEMS: I understand that items are inspected after drop off. Unacceptable items will be removed from the sales floor including grossly overpriced items. Items will be held for pickup or donated (as marked on the tag). JBF reserves the right to charge a rejected item fee of $0.25 per item AFTER THE FIRST 7 rejected items which are no charge. Fees, if any, are taken from your consignor check. Thank you for helping us keep the JBF quality very high!

BRINGING DUPLICATE BRAND NEW ITEMS (applies to resellers): I understand that there is a NEW limit of FIVE identical items and 20 of the same items, no matter what size or color. Additional items above the first five will be pulled from the sales floor. Bringing more than 5 duplicate items OR bringing over 600 items OR bringing over the category limits (i.e. more than 25 accessories) will result in a processing fee of 10% of your sales.
CONSIGNOR AGREEMENT: I understand and agree that JBF Allentown/Bethlehem and Quakertown/Hatfield, Lehigh Valley Kidsignment Sales LLC are not responsible for the fire, loss, theft, or damage to my sale items; Full effort will be made by all parties to prevent these happenings. I agree that as a condition of selling items in a JBF Sale, I represent and warrant the following to be true: 1. I am the owner of the items to be sold, and I have full authority to sell the items; and 2. Each item is in good operating condition, and is not defective, broken or damaged; and 3. Any repaired item was repaired by the original manufacturer or in accordance with the original manufacturers warranty program; and 4. Each item complies with applicable law; and 5. No item has been recalled, or is the subject of any pending or threatened recall/repair notice or other consumer protection enforcement action; 6. I know of no reason why any item would cause any injury to another.

(please check even if you do not plan to participate as a team member, in case you change your mind later): My shift dates/times were chosen solely by me from a large schedule of available shifts. I will be offered a selection of available positions to work upon arrival at the start of my shift, and the area I work will be of my own choosing. I understand that if I require special accommodations or prefer a specific position, I will let Kendra or Barb know at the start of my shift. I understand that in order to receive the compensation being offered, I am responsible to complete the Team Member hours for which I have signed up. Should I fail to do so, I will not be compensated the additional 10% or other team member perks outlined below. I agree to waive any and all claims for personal injury resulting from participation in this event from foreseen and unforeseen causes against JBF and Lehigh Valley Kidsignment Sales, LLC. Since I am working a shift(s) as an independent contractor, I agree to receive early shopping privileges and an extra consignor percentage for my time, and/or a fee waiver. I understand that I am not receiving benefits, insurance, workers compensation or any other similar benefits, since I am NOT AN EMPLOYEE. I am working for the sole purpose of assisting with the operations of the event and to help sell my items at the event. I am working in an ethical manner, and agree that I am not attempting to learn the business practices of JBF, operations techniques, or any other business matters that may or may not be trademarked, registered or proprietary in any way. I understand that by working 4 or 8, I will be able to shop at the corresponding presale shopping time. For working 4 hours I will receive an extra 10% consignor commission on my sold items. The maximum number of hours being offered to me to work as a JBF team member is 8 hours. Should I desire to work above 8 hours, I understand that I may inquire with either Kendra or Barb as to availability of shifts and other available payment arrangements which may be different than those offered here. I understand that, at times, JBF takes photographs of its events to promote sales and, if I do not wish my image to be used in JBF promotions, I will notify the photographer at the time a picture is taken. Otherwise, I agree to allow my image to be used in JBF sale promotions I understand that if I am working a drop zone or inspection shift, I must drop off DURING REGULAR DROP OFF TIMES, BEFORE or AFTER my shift, not during my shift. Kendra and Barb rely on team members being present for these hours, and if I show up late because I do my drop off first, they will be short-staffed for that length of time and possibly be unable to operate drop zones. I understand that since I am working as an independent contractor, if I earn over $600 in the calendar year (in the extra 10%, JBF bucks, or any combination) I will be required to provide a W9 and receive a 1099 for this compensation at the end of the year. All compensation agreed upon here is for labor" and is subject to a 1099 if the total is more than $600 for the year (NOTE - not your 60% consignor commission just the 10% you are being paid for "labor").
